NUNAVUT BLACK HISTORY SOCIETY

the Nunavut Black History Society does not yet have a stand-alone location, but we encourage you to follow them on Facebook, instagram, and YouTube via the links identified to be kept up-to-date on any upcoming events and developments through this organization.

The Nunavut black history society is focused on the protection, celebration, research and conservation of the dignity, pride, history, arts, culture, and heritage of people of African descent in Nunavut and canada.

Under the direction of Stephanie Bernard, the Nunavut black history society holds events at various times throughout the year with the goal of engaging the community and celebrating the often under-acknowledged history of people of african/caribbean descent in Nunavut.
